Recent Exhibits

Most recently, Fran’s work was exhibited at Evolutions ’07 on Labor Day weekend.
Each year northshoreartists.org carefully selects a dozen artists to exhibit their
work on the lawns of a patron’s estate on scenic Marblehead Neck.
 This year the event attracted some 1.200 visitors during the 12 hour exhibit.

Prior to his exhibit at E’07, Mr. Morey joined artists from all over New England in a
juried display their works in the 19th annual Newport Art Museum’s Art on the Lawn event.
The Art on the Lawn event is hosted by the Newport Artists Guild.

Fran also was a participant in the Newport Art Museum’s very popular
Wet Paint, presented by William Vareika Fine Arts. This unique event invites
artists to paint their favorite area vistas, then bring their work, still wet,
to the Museum for inclusion in a lively benefit auction.
Wet Paint took place over the course of an entire week in August
and brought greater artist/auction participation and benefited
the Museum’s education and outreach programs.
